Bramble Shark
Habitat: deep water (around 650-3000 feet)
Location: East Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Pacific
Size: range between 5-7 feet
Description: Bramble sharks are rare deepwater slow-moving fish. There are only two species of shark in this category: Bramble Shark and Prickly Shark. They only enter shallow water when cold, and they often swim alone.
Diet: bony fish, octopus, squid, crustaceans, and small sharks
Feeding Habits: large mouth used to suck in prey
Lifespan: 25 years
Offspring: 15-26 pups per litter
