Lemon Shark
Habitat: coral, docks, sand, and river mouths
Location: west Atlantic, northeastern Atlantic, central and eastern Pacific
Size: range between 8-10 feet
Description: Lemon sharks are a pale-yellow brown color, and they live in schools of 1-20. In addition, they can rest on the bottom, and as the shark grows in size their territory becomes increases. These sharks can be aggressive if provoked.
Diet: fish, crustaceans, and mollusks
Feeding Habits: hunt during dawn and dusk
Offspring: 4-17 pups per litter
Lifespan: 25 years
