Habitat: coastal and offshore regions (max depth: 6,150 feet)
Location: world-wide (greatest habitat of any fish)
Size: range between 11-20 feet
Description: White sharks are at the top of the food chain. They are curious creatures which are highly migratory. Little information is known about these creatures due to limited research. These sharks can become aggressive if provoked, however, most fear comes from the media.
Diet: birds, mammals, reptiles, fish, mollusks, and other invertebrates
Feeding Habits: intellegent, strong predators that sometimes jump from the water when catching their prey
Offspring: 2-10 pups per litter each 2 to 3 years
Lifespan: 30 years
Status: Vulnerable
Threatened by: human consumption, fining, and bycatch
